Global collaboration impacts positively

Ekuphumleni in Gugulethu is benefitting from a collaborative effort between Kew Gardens, Victoria, Australia and Durbell Pharmacy. Durbell Pharmacy responded to the dire need at Eku and in June, started blister packing all the medication for the home, having faith that a partner would be found. Huge commitment has been shown to helping raise the bar of care in this home. Kew Gardens has been raising funds through the year and will present the funds raised, to Margie Chapman SACF Chairperson, at the ACSA conference in Melbourne on 13th November. This funding will help with blisterpacking for at least 18 months. What a wonderful effort! Sincere thanks to both Durbell and Kew Gardens – the generosity of both is deeply valued.
